The Mission

Two goals. One fight.

Team Pisco was formed two weeks into Mike's first chemo cycle in an effort to give back. What began as a fundraising page has grown into something much bigger.

Research funding is the long game. Some families need help this week.

Fund the research

We raise money for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute by participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk and Pan-Mass Challenge. Every dollar raised through these two events goes directly to cancer research and patient care — and Dana-Farber is partly responsible for over half of the FDA's most recently approved cancer drugs.

Support local families

Through our partnership with Cancer Can't, we help South Shore families in active treatment with the things that can't wait — groceries, transportation, household bills, and whatever else a family needs. When you're focused on getting through chemo, you shouldn't also be worried about the grocery bill.

You can be part of what comes next.

Whether you donate, walk, ride, or simply share our story — every action matters.

Our Story

A diagnosis became a mission.

When Mike was diagnosed in 2023, the family's network and the local community showed up in a way that was impossible to ignore — meals, notes, donations, solidarity.

After leaving his corporate career in October 2025, Mike now devotes his full energy to this work.

Just give us hope and the circumstances are irrelevant. I handle the treatments. Kat keeps the family going. And the kids build an armor of resilience.
