20 Years
Healthcare background
20 years combined in medical device sales — 15 for Mike, 5 for Kat — across hospitals and health systems. They've seen cancer from every angle: as industry insiders, and now as a patient and a caregiver.

What We Do
Funding the research that will end cancer — and supporting the families who can't wait for that day.
Arm One
Dana-Farber isn't just our fundraising partner — it's the institution that diagnosed Mike, treated him twice, and gave our family more time.
“I wanted to prove that this disease couldn't hold us back from fighting for others.”
Arm Two
Research funding is the long game. Some families need help this week.
Founded by Joe and Jamie Callahan, friends of the Piscos who've lived it themselves. Team Pisco partners with them to raise funds, host events, and provide peer support — with Mike bringing his healthcare background and his own patient experience to families who need someone who's been there.
Why Team Pisco
Mike left his corporate career in October 2025. After a few months exploring what came next, he formalized Team Pisco and committed to helping others full time in January 2026.
20 Years
20 years combined in medical device sales — 15 for Mike, 5 for Kat — across hospitals and health systems. They've seen cancer from every angle: as industry insiders, and now as a patient and a caregiver.
Twice Over
Two diagnoses, two rounds of chemo, a stem cell transplant — twice over. While Mike was in treatment, Kat ran the household and managed three kids solo. Between them, Team Pisco knows this disease from every seat: patient, caregiver, and the family holding it together at home.
Since Sep 2024
Serves on the Patient & Family Advisory Council, shaping decisions for future patients and families. It's also given Mike a working knowledge of the resources available to patients — and how and when to use them — so Team Pisco can help families navigate the full journey, not just the diagnosis.
Since May 2026
Helping support South Shore families navigating a cancer diagnosis right now.
Fund the research, support a family — every action moves both forward.
